State of the market: optimism returns to the market restrainedly
Tuesday’s trading opened with a moderate growth of optimism on the stock exchanges in the Asia-Pacific region, and after Europe. Earlier, at the close of trading on Monday, pessimistic sentiment sharpened due to rumors that the Chinese government did not see the possibility of concluding a trade deal while maintaining trade duties. Against this background, the risks of exacerbation of trade tension sharply increased.
With attempts to increase optimism at Tuesday’s trading, the market turned to a correction, supporting the US dollar, which rebounded from support at 97.70-80 and demonstrates restrained attempts to strengthen, while remaining in limbo on the trade agreement and limited to resistance at 97.90 and 98.00.
