State of the market: the American dollar keeps the pressure

Trading on Monday opened the preservation of the upward trend of the US dollar throughout the market. The growth of negative sentiment in the market remains the reason for the strengthening of the American dollar, which has continued since Friday’s trading. Against the background of aggravated pessimistic sentiments and political risks in the United States, the safe haven currencies compete with the American dollar.

The US dollar index with the opening of a new working week is trading within the trading range on Friday, limited by the political risks of the United States associated with the possibility of the Trump’s impeachment. Keeping the upward trend, the dollar index is limited by support levels: 99.00 and 98.80. Resistance is located at the levels of 99.20 and 99.40.
