Data on construction in the US for September were mixed.

• So, the volume of construction of new houses deviated from the twelve-year high, which is not strange, after a rapid increase a month earlier.
• The number of construction permits issued has maintained an upward trend.

As a result, the report on the real estate market in the United States turned out to be moderately positive. Fears may be caused by an increase in the number of unemployment benefits.

The US dollar kept a restrained upward trend against a basket of competitors, receiving the main support from technical correction after the decline and the formation of a rebound from support at 97.50. The upward correction for the American dollar is also limited by the downtrend and resistance levels: 98.00 and 98.20.
