State of the market: the American dollar remains under the pressure

The new trading week opened with continued downward sentiment in the US dollar. This was mainly expressed by the weakening of the US dollar against European currencies, and in particular the British pound. The reason for this remains the preservation of optimism in the market and the general sale of the American dollar.

The US dollar index with the opening of a new trading week accelerated the decline, fixing below the mark of 98.00. Thus, it accelerated the decline and increased the oversold American dollar against a basket of competitors. Support for the US dollar index is located at levels: 97.90 and 97.80, resistance: 98.00-10.
