EUR/USD today: the euro remains under the pressure

The EUR/USD pair with the opening of a new week maintains a downward trend, fully corrected against Friday’s growth. After a two-week decline in the euro, the dollar remains in a downtrend, limiting above the resistance levels: 1.0950-70 and the upper border of the downtrend. Support is located at the levels: 1.0900 and 1.0880.

The US currency may show a noticeable increase in market volatility in the context of aggravated political risks in the USA .

The EUR/USD pair  remains under the pressure of a downtrend, but is limited to attempts of correction after a two-week decline. Significant resistance is located at the levels of 1.0950 and 1.0970. A resumption of the decline should be expected after a restrained correction and the pair will consolidate below 1.0900. Significant support is located at the levels of 1.0880 and 1.0850.
