Data on business activity in the US were mixed, reinforcing the uncertainty that remains in the market before the publication of the results of the meeting of the US Federal Reserve. The index of business activity in the manufacturing sector (PMI) in the US, despite the decline in July, maintains a moderately upward trend.

The US dollar index throughout the day formed a narrow trading channel from 94.50 to 94.70, which is due to the expectation of data on the results of the meeting of the US Federal Reserve.
