Analysis of the American Trading Session

The US Friday session closed with a modest strengthening of the US currency against most of its major competitors. At the same time, the main growth of the American dollar fell on European currencies, against which it had previously shown a significant decline. The driver to the growth of the dollar was the preservation of the general negative sentiment on the stock exchanges and the exacerbation of risks in Europe.

The US dollar index, despite the resistance test at a loss of 95.30-40, remains under the pressure of a downtrend and a decline in the US state bonds yields. As a result, general decline with the test of psychological support 95.00 is very likely, due to the movement against Friday and a decrease in the US state bonds profitability. A limiting factor for reducing the dollar is the growth of negative sentiment in the stock markets.
