Expectations for the upcoming week
The upcoming week promises to be full of news. At the beginning of the week, all market attention will be focused on Helsinki, where US President D. Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet. This meeting includes negotiations behind closed doors, during which talks about the world order are possible, which in the end can cause the growth of volatility in the market.
Of the planned news in the week, it is worthwhile to focus on the reports on inflation in New Zealand, the UK and the euro area. Also the speech of the head of the Federal Reserve Powell will be on the week (Tuesday and Wednesday). UK will publish its employment data on Tuesday. During all the week, there will be the US statistics, which will in some way affect the possibility of tightening the monetary policy of the US Federal Reserve. (Hanzenko Anton)
