State of the market : the dollar opened a week with an increase on the correction against Friday

Monday opened with restrained strengthening of the American currency across the market. The dollar is supported by the movement against Friday and the renewed optimism in the stock and commodity markets. The noticeable growth of the American dollar is traced against the so-called safe currencies. At the same time, commodity currencies remain quite restrained against the American dollar on the increase in the cost of raw materials.

The US dollar index at the start of the week shows growth on  attempts of recovery. At the same time, it is worth noting the slowdown of the general uptrend on the American dollar, indicating a attempt of correction. Significant resistance settled at levels: 97.00 and 97.20, support: 96.70 and 96.50.
