State of the market: the dollar remains under pressure
Trading on Monday opened with a decline in the US currency across the market spectrum. Comments by the US president on a strong US currency continues to provide pressure on the American dollar.
In the context of a decline in the cost of raw materials and a very restrained dynamics of stock indices in the Asia-Pacific region, the Japanese yen appreciated its support as an asset of a safe harbor, which, despite the overbought situation, looks promising in conditions of maintaining negative sentiments relative to the American dollar and the downward dynamics of raw materials.
The US dollar index opened the week by updating the low at 94.20, from which the retreat occurred. Overall downward dynamics for the US dollar is maintained, despite the attempts to form a day.
