State of the market: pessimism returns to the market
With the opening of trading on Tuesday, the market shows a moderate increase in pessimism, which was expressed by an increase in demand for safe assets. It is worth to note the negative start of stock indices in the Asia-Pacific region, where the main negative dynamics show the indices of China. It is also worth to note the restrained correction of the market after yesterday’s growth of optimism, which is one of the significant drivers of pessimism growth.
The US dollar index has shown a moderate growth from the start of the day, after yesterday’s decline, remaining limited by resistance at 97.90-98.00 and the trading channel. At the same time, a decrease in the US government bonds yield provides a direct support to the US currency. Support is located at levels: 97.70 and 97.60.
