State of the market: focus shifts to the US-China trade talks
Restrained trading at the start of Friday is limited to attempts of correction against the growth of the American dollar yesterday. The reason for the rapid growth of the dollar yesterday was the ECB President Draghi comment, who retained soft rhetoric regarding monetary policy in the eurozone. On Friday trades, there is also some optimism about the US dollar, which is caused by optimism about the US – China trade talks.
The US dollar index is trading with attempts of correction after yesterday’s growth, while limiting itself restraintly to the upward dynamics and growth in the US government bonds yield, which put pressure on the American dollar. Significant resistance are the levels: 97.80 and 98.00, support: 97.50 and 97.30.
