State of the market: the market is waiting for a new round of trade confrontation

Since the start of trading on Friday, the stock indices of the Asia-Pacific region show a multidirectional dynamics. Stock exchanges, after yesterday’s decline in all trading sessions moved to correction, which was caused by positive statistics on business activity in China. At the same time, the upward dynamics of stock exchanges is limited by the expectation of new duties on Chinese goods. Thus, US President D. Trump said that tariffs on Chinese goods will reach $ 200 billion next week. This served as a new driver for the growth of pessimism in the market and the growth of the dollar.

The US dollar index at the beginning of the day is trading with a decrease on the growth of stock markets in Asia, limiting the existing trading range from 94.50 to 94.80-90. It should be noted that the downward dynamics of the American dollar slowed against the background of uncertainty.
