State of the market: dollar under pressure
At the end of the American session on Thursday, the US dollar was under considerable pressure across the entire spectrum of the market, which was caused by the comments of US President D. Trump regarding the policy of the US Federal Reserve. So, the US president expressed concern about a strong US currency, which ultimately makes US exports more expensive and makes the US economy vulnerable. As a result, the dollar remains under pressure throughout the entire spectrum of the market.
Thus, the US dollar index against the basket of major competitors is traded near the significant support of 95.00, thereby forming a figure of “head and shoulders”, which will open the way to support levels: 94.80 and 94.60.
