Expectations for the upcoming week
This week it will be a lot of significant statistics, especially on Wednesday and Thursday the economic calendar will be full of events. Of the planned events, special attention should be paid to the meetings of the central banks of Australia (Tuesday), Japan (Wednesday) and Switzerland (Thursday). Also such important macroeconomic indicators: inflation in the euro area (Monday), inflation in the UK (Wednesday), New Zealand’s GDP (Thursday) and inflation in Canada (Friday) are worthy of note. In addition to the statistical data, the ECB Chairman M. Draghi speeches will take place on the week, from which one should expect the growth of the euro’s volatility.
