British Prime Minister denies second referendum
British Prime Minister T. May during her speech stated that she does not believe in the second Brexit referendum and that the second referendum will not meet the majority in parliament. Also during the speech, the Prime Minister abolished the low probability that the EU would extend the Brexit deadline, effectively putting pressure on the British Parliament to accept the existing Brexit deal. Many market participants are talking about a new deal between the EU and the UK, but it is only expectations.
The British pound remains trapped by lateral dynamics, trading against major competitors. If the results of the day do not sound nothing concrete, then there is a high probability that the pound will return to decline in market disappointment.
