Expectations for the upcoming week

The upcoming week promises to be full of data on interest rates in the US, UK, New Zealand and Australia. Also this week significant statistics on a lot of countries will be published, and the meeting of the G20 will take place. In addition to the planned events, the market remains pending the resolution of existing geopolitical and trade conflicts, which are likely to continue this week.

With all existing risks, market attention shifted to the upcoming Fed meeting, which is expected to raise rates in the US. Also from this meeting expect a very hawkish rhetoric and a hint of four rate hikes this year. This is indicated by the active correction of positions on the American dollar and the extremely high probability of raising rates at the March meeting of the US Federal Reserve.
