(Upd) Focus of trading news on Erste News

The following news from Erste News are expected during the week from September 30 to October 4:

October 1:

At 07:30 – the RBA monetary policy meeting results will be released. From this meeting of the Central Bank of Australia, the market expects a reduction in the key interest rate from 1.00% to 0.75%. This will put a significant pressure on the Australian dollar. The market will also monitor the rhetoric of the Central Bank and hints of a further change in rates.

At 15:30 – the GDP of Canada will be published. The dynamics of the Canadian economy has shown a decline in recent months, but remains positive.

At 17:00 – the index of business activity in the manufacturing sector (PMI) of the United States. Expectations regarding which remain very positive, despite the downward trend.

October 3:

At 11:30 – the composite PMI index (September) of Great Britain  will be published. This indicator will reflect the state of the UK economy in the face of the risks of a trade war and Brexit.

At 17:00 – ISM index of business activity in the non-manufacturing sector (PMI) in the United States will be released. The dynamics of the activity indicator in the United States will affect significantly the market sentiment and partially reflect the effects of a trade war.

October4:

At 15:30 – the US employment data will be released. Data remains the main event of the current week and has a significant impact on the US dollar. Expectations regarding this report remain modestly positive.
