On Thursday, 18.04.2019, the economic calendar is eventful. But because of the short work week on the occasion of the celebration of Good Friday, Thursday will actually become the day of position correction before the weekend. Extremely low liquidity in the market is expected on Friday and Monday.

Employment data in Australia will open trading on Thursday, expectations for which remain ambiguous. In the European trading session, market attention will shift to data on business activity in the manufacturing sector (PMI) in the eurozone and retail sales in the UK. Expectations for sales in the UK remain very positive, but the political situation is likely to limit the market response.

The US session is also full of data on retail sales in the US and Canada, which are expected to provide positive data.
