FOCUS OF THE WEEK!
Dear traders,
The upcoming trading week will be saturated with significant statistics such as consumer inflation, employment reports and GDP. The market will also continue to evaluate the effects of the US – China trade talks, the results of which will have a significant impact on the market.
On Monday, with a small amount of data, China’s trade balance are worth highlighting. Also, at the start of the week, the formation of gaps is not ruled out if trade negotiations drag on for the weekend. On Tuesday, it is worth to highlight a number of significant data: the publication of the RBA protocol, inflation data in China, an employment report in the UK and economic sentiment in the eurozone.
On Wednesday, the relevance of published data will continue. An inflation report will be released in New Zealand, the UK, the eurozone and Canada, which will maintain high volatility in these currencies. On Thursday, employment data in Australia, retail sales in the UK and data on construction and manufacturing activity in the USA are worth highlighting. A very informative week will be closed by data on China and Japan. At the beginning of the day, an inflation data in Japan will be released. Later GDP and employment data in China will be published.
The fundamental factors affecting the market are trade negotiations, which will set the tone for trading at the start of the week. Speculation around Brexit will intensify, which will persist until the end of the month.
Corporate reporting calendar will be saturated this week. Next corporate reports are worth highlighting this week: Citigroup (C), J&J (JNJ), Bank of America (BAC), IBM (IBM), American Express (AXP), Coca-Cola (KO), eBay (EBAY) and several others . (Anton Hanzenko)
