FOCUS OF THE WEEK!
Dear traders,
This week the global financial markets will be focused on the publication of the FOMC protocols, which will be published on Wednesday, at 21:00. After publication, key representatives of the Federal Reserve will comment on this event before the end of the week.
The keynote address of this week will be held on Friday, at 16:00 – the head of the Fed, Mr. Powell.
Also, during the week there will be a news block on the UK. The main attention should be paid to the consumer price index for April (Wednesday) and the volume of retail sales (Thursday). At 12:00 on Thursday, a report on inflation will be held. On Friday, preliminary data on UK GDP for the first quarter of 2018 will be released.
On Thursday, attention should be paid to the publication of the minutes of the ECB meeting on monetary policy.
The commodity market, in turn, expects data on crude oil reserves in the US.
