EUR/USD today: the euro accelerated its growth on the weakness of the American dollar

From the start of the day, the US dollar has weakened significantly against a basket of competitors and for the most part against the euro, which actually met yesterday’s expectations.  The Friday correction of positions before the weekend, which increased the pressure on the American dollar is the driver of sales of the dollar. It is also worth noting the soft rhetoric of the US Federal Reserve, which became the catalyst for a decline in the US dollar.

Events for today:

• At 15:30 – data for the United States will be released: export price index (m/m) (mar) and import price index (m/m) (mar).

EUR/USD is expected to continue its upward movement on the sale of the US dollar. Significant resistance settled at 1.1320-30 and against the background of the pair’s overbought, it will limit further strengthening. The support are the marks: 1.1280 and 1.1260, the test of which is possible on the rapid closing of positions and correction after growth.
