On Monday, July 30,  small amount of statistics for Japan, Germany and the United States will be released.

  • At 02:50 – the volume of retail sales in Japan (y / y) (June).
  • At 10:00 – index of the leading economic indicators of Switzerland from KOF (July).
  • At 15:00 – the consumer price index (CPI) of Germany (m / m) (July).
  • At 17:00 – index of pending home sales  (m / m) (June) USA.

On Tuesday, July 31, the day is saturated with data. Particular attention should be focused on data for the euro area, the US and Canada. Also on this day, preliminary publication of the results of the meeting of the Bank of Japan is expected.

  • At 02:30 – data on  household spending in Japan.
  • At 04:00 – new home sales  in Australia.
  • At 04:00 –  index of business activity in the manufacturing sector (PMI) of China.
  • At 10:55 –  German unemploment change  (July).
  • At 12:00 –  a news block for the euro area: the consumer price index (CPI), GDP and the unemployment rate.
  • At 15:30 –  data on the US: core price index of personal consumption expenditure, employment cost index and the personnal spendings.
  • Also at 15:30 – the GDP of Canada.
  • At 17:00 – the CB consumer confidence index (July).
  • At 23:30 – weekly  crude oil stocks according to the American Petroleum Institute (API) of the United States.

On Wednesday, August 1, the day is also full of statistics on New Zealand, Europe and the United States. But the main event of the day and, perhaps, the week will be the publication of the decision of the US Federal Reserve on interest rates.

  • At 01:45 – employment change  in Australia (q / q).
  • At 04:45 – index of business activity in the manufacturing sector (PMI) from Caixin (July) of China.
  • At 10:55 –  index of business activity in the manufacturing sector (PMI) in Germany (July).
  • At 11:00 –  index of business activity in the manufacturing sector (PMI) (July) of the euro area.
  • At 11:30 –  index of business activity in the manufacturing sector (PMI) (July) of the UK.
  • At 15:15 –  ADP  nonfarm emploment change change  (July) USA.
  • At 17:00 – index of employment in the manufacturing sector from ISM (July) USA.
  • At 17:30 – crude oil inventories.
  • At 21:00 – FOMC statement will be published  and Fed decision on the interest rate.

On Thursday, August 2, the economic calendar will be full, but the main event of the day will be the decision of the meeting of the Bank of England.

  • At 04:30 – trade balance in Australia(June).
  • At 08:45 – index of consumer confidence in Switzerland from SECO (3 sq.).
  • At 11:30 –  index of business activity in the construction sector (July) of Great Britain.
  • At 14:00 – a report of the Bank of England on inflation and the decision on the interest rate (Aug).
  • At 14:30 – the speech of the head of the Bank of England Karni will take place.
  • At 15:30 – number of initial jobless claims.
  • At 17:00 – the volume of industrial orders (m / m) (June) in the USA.

On Friday, August 3, the day remains a saturated statistic, especially in the euro area. But the main focus of the market will be on employment data in the US.

  • At 02:50 – the minutes of the meeting on the monetary policy of the Bank of Japan will be published.
  • At 04:30 – the volume of retail sales (m / m) (June) in Australia.
  • At 04:45 – index of business activity in the services sector (PMI) from Caixin (July) of China.
  • At 10:15 – the consumer price index (CPI) of Switzerland (m / m) (July).
  • At 10:55 – index of business activity in the German services sector (July).
  • At 11:00 – Composite index of business activity (PMI) from Markit (July) in the euro area.
  • At 11:30 – index of business activity in the services sector (July) of Great Britain.
  • At 12:00 – the volume of retail sales (m / m) (June) of the euro area.
  • At 15:30 – employment report in the US: the average hourly earnings, nonfarm payrolls, trade balance  and unemployment rate.
  • Also at 15:30 –  trade balance of Canada.
  • At 17:00 –  index of employment in the non-manufacturing sector (ISM) (July) of the United States.
  • At 20:00 – the number of oil rigs from Baker Hughes.
