Analysis of the American Trading Session

The US Friday session closed with a modest strengthening of the US dollar against a basket of competitors. The reason for the growth of the American dollar continued to be optimistic mood to tighten US monetary policy and the increasing political risks in Europe associated with Bexit and Italian budget. In addition, pessimistic sentiments returned to the market, which increased the pressure on stock indices and supported the safe havon assets.

At the end of Friday, the US dollar index closed the day in a restrained uptrend, limited to correction, but maintaining optimism. The growth of the US dollar accelerated on low activity at the start of trading on Monday. At the same time, the rising dynamics of the American dollar is preserved, although it is limited to overbought.
