State of the market: the American currency remains under pressure
During the European session, the US currency accelerated decline against the main competitors, which was caused by the absence of significant drivers for the strengthening of the American and pressure from commodity currencies. As a result of rising prices for raw materials, the Canadian, Australian and New Zealand currencies have appreciably strengthened in the low liquid market.
The decline in the US dollar index also caused the strengthening of the euro and the British pound. The British also received support from the growth of commodity assets. As a result, the US dollar index has updated minimum of December and remains under pressure, limited to a support level of 92.800.
