Earlier, the “Irish issue” was solved, which had provided a noticeable support to the British. Despite this, the pound quickly won back the losses. The situation regarding Brexit remains unclear.

Trades in the Asian session are going under close attention to statistics on the Asia-Pacific region. As a result of a marked increase in activity in the manufacturing sector of China, the New Zealand and Australian dollars received support. The day is full of economic statistics.

The US dollar index is limited by the existing downtrend, which is caused by the persistence of fears in the United States.
