State of the market. The US dollar remains under pressure

The US dollar remains under pressure against the basket of currencies, despite the publication of positive statistics on the US.

• The employment index from the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia in April rose to 27.1, against the previous value of 25.6.
• The index of manufacturing activity from the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia rose to 23.2, exceeding the previous value of 22.3.
• The number of applications for unemployment benefits amounted to 232 thousand against the previous value of 233 thousand.

The US dollar index for the past two days keeps the movement in the flat range with resistance at 89.71 and support at 89.48.
