Production activity in the US is growing

According to published data in October, manufacturing activity in the US exceeded the maximum mark of the year, after a slight decrease in September. The manufacturing activity index of NY Empire State in October was 30.20, which is higher than the previous value at the level of 24.4, while analysts had expected the decrease to 20.70.

This statistic provides some support to the US dollar, against which the US currency holds the current position against the basket of currencies.
