Overview of the main drivers: Stock indices and oil

The main European stock indices show mixed dynamics in the course of trading on Thursday. The FTSE 100 adds about + 0.20% to the quotations, thus putting a slight pressure on the pound against the US dollar. DAX decreased by -0.10%, in turn, CAC 40 added to the quotes of about + 0.17%, and it continues to trade in a narrow range against the US dollar. See Quotations.

Oil prices remain above zero marks, adding on average of + 0.58% to the quotations, thus providing only a minor support to commodity currencies, restraining their decline against the US dollar. For more information, see Oil (current news).
