Oil (current news)
Oil prices continue to move in a narrow range just below the zero mark at the beginning of the European session. A decline in business activity in the manufacturing sector of China had some pressure on the oil quotations. According to published data, the index of business activity in the manufacturing sector (PMI) of China in October fell to around 51.6, against the September level of 52.4.
Also, some pressure is exerted by the cautious position of investors in anticipation of data on crude oil reserves in the US this week.
- At the moment, WTI crude oil is trading at $ 54.03, losing about -0.22% in price.
- Brent crude oil is trading around $ 60.48, losing about -0.18% in price.
