Overview of the main drivers: Stock indices and oil

European stock indices are moving in the green zone during trading on Thursday. FTSE 100 adds about + 0.05% to the quotations, which has no effect on the movement of the pound. DAX and CAC 40 on the average add + 0.33% to the quotations, thereby exerting a slight pressure on the single currency. See Quotations.

Oil prices recover their positions during the European session, on average, adding + 0.65% to the quotations, which only provides minor support to commodity currencies against the US dollar. For more information, see Oil (current news).
