New indices of business activity in the euro area!

Today, at 11:00 Kiev time, the value of the composite PMI index, determined by the research group IHS Markit will be published. Experts predict that the value of this index will decrease moderately to 53.9, which will be the lowest value in about two years.
The Composite Business Activity Index (PMI) from Markit in the euro area measures performance in the manufacturing and service sectors.
Prior to this, France and Germany will publish their own reports on the significance of the PMI index at 10:00 and 10:30 respectively.
In the first quarter, its negative impact was exerted by the cold in late February and early March, as well as the unusually late Easter. However, the data published since then hasn’t provided clear evidence of the restoration of economic growth, which increases doubts about the strength of the European economy. (Investing.com)
