Market focus

On Thursday, 15.11.2018, the economic calendar is eventful. At the start of the day the US Federal Reserve Chairman, Powell, will speak at the Asia Pacific session. Also at the beginning of the day an employment report in Australia will be published, expectations for which remain very ambiguous.

At the European session, the main event will be the publication of the UK retail sales, from which they expect very positive statistics. But Brexit negotiations is the main driver of the movement of the British pound.

In the American session, the market’s main attention will be focused on retail sales data and manufacturing activity in the US, the news block on which remains very voluminous.
