On Monday, October 22, start of the week will be very restrained on the news.

• At 04:00 –  speech of the RBA Assistant Governor Debelle will be held.
• At 07:30 –  all industries activity index  (m/m) in Japan.
• At 13:00 –  Bundesbank monthly report will be published.
• At 15:30 –  Chicago Fed national activity  index  (September) in the United States.
• Also at 15:30 – wholesale sales (m/m) (August) in Canada.

On Tuesday, October 23, the saturation of the economic calendar will increase due to speeches by the RBA representatives, but general news background will remain modest.

• At 01:35 and 07:30 – speech of the RBA Assistant Governor Debelle will take place.
• At 09:00 – German producer price index (PPI)  (m/m) (September).
• At 13:00 –  industrial orders index (CBI) (Oct) in the UK.
• At 23:30 – API weekly crude oil inventories in the United States.

On Wednesday, October 24, the day will be full of statistics on business activity. The publication of the results of the Bank of Canada meeting will be the main event of the day.

• At 10:30 – manufacturing business index (PMI) of Germany  (October).
• At 11:00 –  business activity index in the manufacturing sector (PMI) (October), Markit composite business activity index (PMI)  (October) and the business index in the services sector (October) in the eurozone.
• At 11:30 –   gross mortgage approvals  in the UK will be announced.
• At 16:45 –  index of business activity in the manufacturing sector (PMI) and the service sector (October) US.
• At 17:00 –  new home sales (September) in the United States.
• Also at 17:00 – the Bank of Canada’s monetary policy report and interest rate decision will be published.
• At 17:30 –  crude oil stocks in the United States.

On Thursday, October 25, the day is full of news, but the focus will be on the results of the ECB meeting.

• At 00:45 –   trade balance (September) of New Zealand.
• At 11:00 –   IFO business climate index of Germany.
• At 14:45 – deposit facility rate and  interest rate decision (October) in the eurozone.
• At 15:30 – core durable goods orders  (m/m) (September) in the USA and  goods trade balance  (September).
• Also at 15:30  – the ECB will hold a press conference.
• At 17:00 –  pending home sales  (m / m) (September) in the USA.
• At 21:00 – “Beige Book” of the US Federal Reserve will be released.

On Friday, October 26, a small amount of news will be released, among which preliminary data on US GDP deserve special attention.

• At 02:30 – core consumer price index (CPI) in Tokyo (y/y) (Oct) in Japan.
• At 15:30 – preliminary data on GDP (q/q) (Q3) of the United States.
• At 20:00 – the number of Baker Hughes oil rigs in the USA will be published.
