On Monday, March 11, a small amount of news about Germany and the USA will be released.

  • At 09:00 – data for Germany will be released: German industrial production (m/m) (January) and the trade balance of Germany (January).
  • At 14:30 – retail sales in the United States will be released.
  • At 16:00 – business inventories (m/m) (December) in the United States will be announced.

On Tuesday, March 12, an attention will be focused on data on the UK GDP and the US inflation. Also on this day will be a vote in the Parliament of Great Britain about the Brexitdeal.

  • At 01:50 – BSI large manufacturing conditions  (Q1) of Japan will be released.
  • At 02:30 – home loans (m/m) of Australia will be released.
  • At 11:30 – in the UK there are data on: GDP (m/m), industrial output (m/m) (January) and the trade balance.
  • At 14:30 – inflation data in the United States.
  • At 15:00 – NIESR UK GDP estimate will be released.

On Wednesday, March 13, the market’s attention will be focused on Brexit voting results and the US data.

  • At 06:30 – index of business activity in the services sector (m/m) in Japan will be released.
  • At 12:00 – industrial production (m/m) (January) of the eurozone will be released.
  • At 14:30 – the UK will publish an annual budget and a spring budget forecast.
  • At 14:30  – the US data will be released: nondefense capital goods shipments (excluding aircraft) (m/m), core durable goods orders (m/m) (January), durable goods orders  (m/m) (January) and the producer price index (PPI) (m/m) (Feb).
  • At 16:30 –  crude oil inventories in the United States will be announced.

On Thursday, March 14, you should focus on the data for China and the United States.

  • At 04:00 – data on China will be released: investment in fixed assets (y/y) (January), industrial output (y/y) (January) and unemployment in China.
  • At 09:00 – German consumer price index (CPI) of Germany (m/m) (Feb) will be announced.
  • At 09:30 –  Switzerland Producer Price Index (PPI) (m/m) (Feb) will be released.
  • At 14:30 – the US data will be released: export price index (m/m) (Feb), import price index (m/m) (Feb) and initial jobless claims for unemployment benefits.
  • At 16:00 – new home sales (January) in the United States will be announced.

On Friday, March 15, the main event of the day will be the publication of an inflation report in the eurozone.

  • At 05:00 – the Bank of Japan monetary policy  report and interest rate decision.
  • At 12:00 –  inflation data in the euro area will be released: core consumer price index (CPI) (y/y) (Feb) and the consumer price index (CPI) (m/m) (Feb).
  • At 14:30 – sales in the manufacturing sector (m/m) (January) of Canada will be released.
  • At 15:15 – industrial production (m/m) (Feb) will be released in the USA.
  • At 16:00 – JOLTS job openings  (January) USA will be released.
  • At 19:00 –  the number of Baker Hughes oil rigs in the United States will be released.
