At 17:00 – a block of news for the USA:
– Shipments of nondefense capital goods (excluding aircraft) (m/m),  previous value  -0.1%.
– Factory orders (m/m) (November), forecast 0.3%, previous value  -2.1%.
– ISM non-manufacturing employment index  (December),  previous value 58.4.
– ISM non-manufacturing business index (PMI)  (December), forecast 59.1,  previous value of60.7.

Also at 17:00 – the Canadian business activity index (PMI)  (December), previous value  57.2.
