• The change in the number of applications for unemployment benefits was -7.2 thousand, compared to the
• previous value of 6.2 thousand.
  In turn, the unemployment rate rose to 4.4%, exceeding the previous value of 4.3%.

Technical analysis: The pair GBP/USD remains in a short-term downtrend. The main resistance levels are 1.4000, 1.4045. The main support levels are 1.3900, 1.3850.
