Focus on traded news with Erste News
In the week from May 6 to 10, a noticeably less of news is expected from Erste News.
On Tuesday, 07.05, at 07:30, the AU RBA Interest Rate will be published. The results of the RBA meeting are likely to remain unchanged. But there is a moderate likelihood that this will impact the Australian dollar. Also, the preservation of monetary policy may serve as a reason to slow down the easing of the monetary policy of the Central Bank of Australia.
On Wednesday, at 05:00, the NZ RBNZ Interest Rate will take place. From the RBNZ meeting results is also expected to maintain monetary policy unchanged. The market reaction, as in the case of trading on Tuesday, will largely depend on the very tone of the protocol.
On Thursday at 11:00 – NO Norges Bank Interest Rate will be released. Also the results of the meeting of the Central Bank of Norway at an interest rate will be published.
On Friday, the day will be full of news.
At 11:30 – UK GDP. The UK GDP will be released, expectations for which remain very positive. Brexit remains to be the main driver of the dynamics of the British pound. At the same time, the dynamics of traded currency pairs remains upward, indicating a potential for growth.
15:30 – US CPI – CORE (m/m). Core consumer price index (CPI) (m/m) (April) will be released in the United States, which is a very significant indicator of the US economy and recently after the last Fed meeting, the dynamics of the US dollar will depend largely on this indicator.
Also at 15:30 CA Net Change in Employment will be released. An employment change in Canada will be published, which will show the situation on the labor market in Canada. It will have a significant local impact on the Canadian dollar.
Due to the specifics of the news being published, which carry more ambiguous data, the probability of the Erste News system will be low.
