Market focus

On Thursday, September 12, the day will be full of significant data, which are the main this week. At the start of the day, it is worth to note business activity in Japan, inflation data in Germany and France. They will have a restrained effect, especially on the euro. The main focus of the market will be on the ECB meeting results. A reduction in the deposit rate will be expected from this meeting the Central Bank of the Eurozone. But hints of further stimulating the eurozone economy are expected most of all.

In the US session, market attention will be focused on the US inflation data, which is expected to have mixed data; and a speech of the ECB Governor Draghi, which could cause a major increase in volatility in the euro, thanks to comments on the ECB’s monetary policy.
