Market focus

On Tuesday, September 3, the day will be full of significant statistics thanks to data from Australia and the United States.

At the start of the day, all market attention will be focused on data on Australia: retail sales and the RBA meeting results. Of particular note is the results of the meeting of the Central Bank of Australia on interest rates, which are expected to maintain key rates unchanged at 1.00%. But, given the increasing tension in trade relations, soft rhetoric is not ruled out, which will increase pressure on the Australian dollar.

At the European session, it is worth noting an inflation data in Switzerland and business activity in the UK construction sector. On the US trading session, market attention will be focused on data on business activity in the manufacturing sector (PMI) of the United States. The data will reflect the state of business activity in the United States in conditions of worsening trade relations.
