On Tuesday, 21.05.2019, the day will be very full of significant statistics. At the start of the day, the US Federal Reserve Chairman, Powell will speak, who are not expected to make loud statements about monetary policy. But the very fact of this speech can increase American dollar’s volatility. At the beginning of the day,  the RBA meeting minutes will also be published, which may slightly increase the interest in the Australian dollar.

In the European trading session, market’s attention will be focused on speeches by the representative of the Bank of England. Of particular note are the speech of the Bank of England Governor Carney and the hearing of the inflation report in the UK. At the US trading session there are data on real estate sales in the secondary real estate market in the United States, which have a restrained influence on the national currency.

On this day, fundamental factors will continue to have a significant impact on the market, namely, elections to the European Parliament and the US trade opposition.
