Market focus

On Friday, 05.04.2019, the main focus of the market will be on the US employment data.

At the start of the day, reduced activity is expected due to a day off in China and Hong Kong. At the same time in Japan data on household expenditures will be published. Closer to the European trading session data on industrial production in Germany and housing prices in the UK are expected, which will have a restrained effect on national currencies.

The main event of the day will be the publication of a jobs report in the United States, the publication of which may causea  major increase in market activity. After the February weak employment report, a significant increase in new jobs is expected, which was also indicated by preliminary US data.
