Market focus
On Thursday, 21.03.2019, the economic calendar will be saturated with data. At the start of the day, an employment report will be released in Australia, which is expected to provide very low-key data. At the same time, the activity at the beginning of the day may be reduced due to a day off in Japan.
With the opening of the European trading session the meeting results of the National Bank of Switzerland will be published, from which they expect keeping monetary policy unchanged. Also in the morning, there will be data on retail sales in the UK. Later, the meeting results of the Bank of England will be published, from which they expect monetary policy to remain unchanged. At the US trading session, there will be moderate data for the US and Canada, which will have a restrained influence on the market.
