FOCUS OF THE WEEK!
Dear traders,
The first week of September promises to be full of significant data, including RBA meetings, Australian GDP data, US employment data. The week will also be full of PMI business activity data.
On Monday, the week opens with data on business activity in the manufacturing sector of China, Germany and the UK. Afternoon will be low due to the day off in the USA and Canada.
On Tuesday, the RBA meeting minutes are worth highlighting, from which they will expect hints of further monetary policy. Also the US Manufacturing PMI is noteworthy.
On Wednesday, the saturation of the economic calendar will remain at a high level. Australia’s GDP data, activity data in the UK, and the Bank of Canada interest rate decisions will be published.
Swiss GDP and preliminary US employment data will be released on Thursday.
On Friday, despite data on GDP in the eurozone, business activity and employment in Canada, the main focus of the market will be on theon employment report in the US.
The fundamental risk factors for the market are the USA – China trade talks. The market will expect details that will create market volatility.
The corporate reporting calendar for the week will be almost empty.
