The pound is under pressure

The British pound declined against the US dollar in the course of Wednesday trading amid possible destabilization of the work of the British government. British Foreign Minister Priti Patel held an unauthorized meeting with Israeli officials behind the Prime Minister. As it turned out, Patel invited Israel to provide British aid to the project of the Israeli army. These actions of Patel show a violation of the ministerial ethics, which may lead to her resignation. Technical analysis: During today’s trading, the pair GBP/USD has lost about 50 points and continues to move in a predominantly flat in the short term. One should consider the main resistance levels at the marks 1.3180; 1.3200. Support levels are considered at the levels 1,3100; 1.3060.
