State of the market. The US dollar is stabilizing

The US dollar is trying to stabilize against the basket of currencies before the American Stock Exchange session begins.

Against the background of  lack of significant news in the calendar, the main attention of market participants is focused on the possible US trade war against China.

The pressure on the US currency on the part of the trade pressure slightly decreased on the message that talks between Beijing and Washington on improving the conditions for US access to the Chinese market started. In turn, no news about the negotiations has yet been received, which restrains the restoration of the US currency. Also this evening, there will be a series of speeches by members of the FOMC, whose comments can increase market volatility against the US dollar.

The US dollar index retreated slightly from the low of today’s trading, at the level of 88.76, but still remains under pressure of uncertainty about the trade war between the US and China.
