State of the market: the US dollar remains under pressure

At the start of the week, trading on the foreign exchange market opened with a restrained decline in the US currency, which was caused by the positive start of stock indices in the Asia-Pacific region and the persistence of pessimism about the American dollar after the comments of the US Federal Reserve representative on Friday. The market also focuses on the British pound and on the situation on Brexit, around which pessimism continues to grow.  Political risks in the UK increased sharply after several members of the UK government resigned, as a sign of disagreement with the text of the Brexit agreement.

The US dollar index starts the week at the close of Friday level, maintaining a downtrend and potential for decline, while limiting to the support of 96.50 and oversold. In the face of growing optimism in the market, 96.30-20 support test is possible.
