State of the Market: the dollar remains near the annual maximum

Trades on Monday opened with a very restrained dynamics, demonstrating sluggish dynamics in the Asian session. Since the beginning of the week there has been a restrained movement against Friday, which is due to ambiguous statistics on employment in the US. But at the same time, optimism about the US currency remains, due to confidence in the four Fed rate increases this year.

An additional factor in the strengthening of the US dollar is the continued optimism in the stock markets of the Asia-Pacific region, which are trading above zero on the positive closing of trading on Wall Street. At the same time, non-European sites can get under the pressure of correction, thereby causing a decline in the American. The dollar index against the basket of major currencies is trading with attempts at growth, limited to existing levels of support and resistance.
