State of the market: market activity remains low

At the opening of Friday’s trading the dynamics of the main currency pairs remain quite restrained, while the stock indices of the Asian region remain under pressure. Market restraint is due to weekends in the USA and Japan, today in the USA they continue to celebrate Thanksgiving Day and therefore the American session will be short. The growth of activity should be expected at the European and early American trading sessions, which is caused by the expectation of the publication of significant statistics and the close of the trading week.

The US dollar index continues to maintain a downward trend, limited to support levels: 96.30-20 and 96.00. Resistance is located at the levels: 96.50-60 and 96.80. A further decline in the US dollar index is also limited to a general two-month upward channel.
