Quarterly reports of the US companies: the focus on the Apple report
Dear traders,
On Wall Street, its reports for the first quarter published more than one-fifth of the companies covered by the S & P 500 index. The main attention will be drawn to the report of Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL), which will be released on Tuesday after the trades.
In recent weeks, the shares of the manufacturer of smartphones iPhone have become cheaper due to concerns about lower sales of phones. For the year, sales decreased by more than 4%, and compared to the historical maximum – more than 10%.
On Monday, McDonald’s (NYSE: MCD) and Loews (NYSE: L) reports will be published, Merck (NYSE: MRK), Pfizer (NYSE: PFE) and Snap (NYSE: SNAP) reports on Tuesday, Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA), Square (NYSE: SQ), Spotify (NYSE: SPOT) and Mastercard (NYSE: MA) reports on Wednesday, on Thursday – CBS (NYSE: CBS) and Blue Apron (NYSE: APRN), and on Friday – Alibaba reports (NYSE: BABA).
Over the past volatile week, the main indices of Wall Street either remained stable, or slightly decreased. The value of the S & P 500 index changed insignificantly, while the Dow and Nasdaq indices decreased by 0.6% and 0.4%. (Investing.com)
